Delight.ai has introduced Delight Agent Model Context Protocol (MCP), a new standards-based integration that enables AI assistants such as Claude, Codex, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible clients to securely access and query live customer experience data using natural language.

The new capability allows organizations to interact with operational data directly through AI assistants instead of navigating dashboards or generating reports. Users can ask questions such as “Why did customer satisfaction drop this week?” or “How is my support agent performing today?” and receive responses based on real-time data from their Delight.ai workspace.

The launch builds on Delight.ai’s earlier MCP Tool Import feature, which enabled customers to connect their own MCP servers with Delight.ai agents. With Delight Agent MCP, the company now publishes its own MCP server, allowing external AI applications to securely retrieve and interact with live enterprise data.

According to John Kim, CEO and Co-founder of Delight.ai, enterprise software is evolving toward conversational interfaces where users interact with business applications through natural language rather than traditional dashboards. The new integration is designed to simplify access to operational insights while improving productivity.

At launch, the MCP integration supports more than 35 operational tools, including monitoring customer support agent performance through metrics such as resolution rates and customer satisfaction (CSAT), searching complete conversation transcripts, identifying low-confidence AI responses and quality issues, and creating or updating actionbooks, knowledge sources, tools, and AI agent configurations.

Delight.ai developed the capability using its own internal workflows before expanding it for customer use, responding to growing demand for secure, standards-based AI integrations that eliminate manual data exports and disconnected reporting processes.

By enabling external AI assistants to securely access live operational data, Delight.ai aims to help customer experience teams make faster, data-driven decisions while embracing the industry’s shift toward AI-powered conversational workflows.
