Former Salesforce and Telstra executive will lead go-to-market, sales and partner development for Omilia’s Agentic CX platform across Asia-Pacific
Omilia has appointed David Stone as Head of APAC, tasking the industry veteran with leading the company’s go-to-market strategy, sales operations and partner ecosystem across Asia-Pacific.
Stone will focus on expanding Omilia’s presence across Australia and New Zealand and the wider APAC region as the company targets enterprise and government organizations adopting AI and automation in customer experience operations.
Expanding Across Regulated Industries
Omilia is increasing its presence in sectors including banking, insurance, government and utilities, where customer experience deployments often require strict controls around data privacy, accuracy and response times.
Stone will be responsible for developing the sales and partner relationships needed to support adoption of Omilia’s self-learning Agentic CX platform in these environments.
The appointment comes as organizations across APAC continue to evaluate how AI can be deployed in customer service and contact center operations while meeting regulatory and operational requirements.
Two Decades of CX and AI Experience
Stone brings more than 20 years of go-to-market experience across contact center, customer experience and AI technologies in Australia and the broader APAC market.
Before joining Omilia, he was Regional Vice President for Service Cloud at Salesforce. He previously served as Vice President of Growth at Concentrix, where he developed go-to-market strategies for CX technology and outsourcing and helped launch CCaaS and AI offerings in the region.
His earlier roles include senior growth positions at Stellar, Probe CX, Curious Thing AI and Inference. At Telstra, he led sales for the company’s CX and contact center portfolio and was involved in the launch of its Genesys solutions.
Stone has also served as a pro bono advisory board member for the Australian Customer Experience Professionals Association and regularly speaks on contact center, CX and AI developments across the region.
Focus on Enterprise AI Adoption
Stone said APAC enterprises and government organizations are increasingly looking for evidence of how AI performs in live, regulated environments rather than relying solely on demonstrations or projections.
He said his focus at Omilia will be to bring examples of the platform’s applications to the region and help organizations identify where AI can deliver measurable service and operational improvements.
Building Omilia’s Regional Growth
Nick Delis, Chief Revenue Officer at Omilia, said Stone’s experience at Salesforce, Concentrix and Telstra will support the company as it expands across a more complex APAC market.
The appointment strengthens Omilia’s regional leadership as the company seeks to expand adoption of its Agentic CX technology among enterprises and government organizations, particularly in industries where customer service automation must operate within strict operational and regulatory requirements.
