FreeWheel has introduced Video Content Report, a new reporting solution within Buyer Cloud designed to provide advertisers with greater transparency into where their connected TV (CTV) campaigns are delivered. The tool offers series-level post-campaign reporting, enabling advertisers to see which premium television shows their ads appeared alongside.
Available exclusively through FreeWheel Buyer Cloud, the solution is powered by FreeWheel Streaming Hub and uses publisher-sourced, impression-level ad server data to provide verified campaign delivery insights. The report is offered at no additional cost and is available through participating publishers that opt into the program.
Launch partners include A+E Global Media, Spectrum Reach, Fuse Media, NBCUniversal, Paramount, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Xumo, allowing advertisers to access standardized reporting across multiple premium streaming platforms within a single workflow.
The new capability addresses one of the biggest challenges in programmatic CTV advertising—limited visibility into the specific content where ads are served. According to research cited by FreeWheel, more than half of CTV advertisers would increase spending with publishers that provide show- or series-level transparency, highlighting growing demand for more detailed campaign measurement.
Video Content Report combines publisher-controlled metadata with impression-level delivery records to verify where campaigns ran while maintaining publisher control over content-sharing permissions. The integrated reporting workflow eliminates the need for manual reporting requests from individual publishers, simplifying campaign analysis for advertisers and agencies.
FreeWheel says the launch strengthens Buyer Cloud’s position as a premium video demand-side platform by combining direct publisher access, advanced media-buying capabilities, and exclusive reporting tools that improve transparency, brand safety verification, and campaign optimization.
With Video Content Report, advertisers gain deeper insight into premium streaming inventory, while publishers can better demonstrate the value and quality of their content to media buyers, supporting more informed investment decisions in the growing CTV advertising market.
