New regional headquarters will support customers across Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, with plans to hire more than 15 employees over the next 12 months
Profound, an AI marketing platform used by one-third of Fortune 100 companies, has established Singapore as its Asia Pacific headquarters. The regional leadership, go-to-market and customer teams will be based in Singapore, supporting brands across Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
The expansion reflects growing demand for AI marketing capabilities as consumers increasingly use AI platforms to research products, compare services and make purchasing decisions.
Growing Demand for AI Marketing Across Asia Pacific
Singapore is among the leading adopters of AI in Asia Pacific and ranks second globally, with 61% of its population using AI tools, according to Stanford HAI’s 2026 AI Index.
Profound also reported findings from its analysis of 1.8 million anonymised ChatGPT and Gemini conversations from users in Singapore. The analysis found that the share of conversations involving product and service research, comparison or purchasing increased 23% between January and September 2026.
As consumer discovery shifts toward AI-generated answers, brands are placing greater emphasis on how they appear across these platforms. Profound’s AI Search insights and agentic workbench are designed to help marketing teams identify where their brands are gaining or losing visibility and deploy agents to address gaps.
The Singapore headquarters will enable the company to work more closely with regional customers. The move follows Profound’s $180 million Series D funding round in September, co-led by Sequoia Capital and Kleiner Perkins.
Singapore Office and Regional Hiring Plans
Profound plans to open its Singapore office in the Central Business District in the fourth quarter of 2026. The company expects to hire more than 15 employees in the country over the following 12 months.
Planned positions include a general manager for Asia Pacific, account executives, go-to-market associates, engagement managers and account managers. Members of Profound’s New York team will also relocate to Singapore for one year to help establish the regional operation and support the new team.
James Cadwallader, co-founder and CEO of Profound, said: “AI is the new front door to every business, and brands across Asia Pacific are moving fast to control how they show up. We’ve already seen that demand firsthand, with brands across the region coming to us before we had a single person on the ground. Singapore is the natural home for our next chapter. It’s where the region’s biggest brands make decisions, and it’s a country that takes AI seriously at the highest level.”
Supporting Singapore’s Growing AI Ecosystem
Ling Yuan Chun, senior vice president and head of Global Ventures at the Singapore Economic Development Board, welcomed the establishment of Profound’s regional headquarters.
“Profound is an innovative technology company that is transforming the digital marketing industry. The establishment of its Asia Pacific headquarters here epitomises the confidence that global AI companies have in Singapore as a well-connected hub to support their growth ambitions in the region. Profound will create new job opportunities in Singapore including management, go-to-market and headquarter roles, thereby enhancing our rapidly growing AI ecosystem. We look forward to supporting Profound’s growth in Singapore,” Chun said.
The expansion adds regional management, customer engagement and go-to-market roles to Singapore’s AI ecosystem while positioning the city as the company’s base for serving customers across Asia Pacific.
Bringing the Zero Click Conference to Asia Pacific
The announcement coincided with Profound’s Zero Click Singapore event, held on October 29 at Raffles Hotel. It marked the first time the company brought its Zero Click conference to Asia Pacific, following the event in Sydney on October 27.
Profound also held a recruitment event in Singapore on October 30 to support its local hiring plans.
Through its new headquarters, regional hiring and customer operations, Profound aims to expand its presence across Asia Pacific as brands adapt their marketing strategies to an increasingly AI-driven discovery environment.
