Basic 3PL has expanded its bulk storage, inventory preparation, and replenishment services to help ecommerce brands adapt to Amazon’s updated Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) eligibility requirements, which introduce stricter size and weight limits for inventory accepted into the program.

Effective July 31, 2026, Amazon AWD now limits upstream storage to products measuring no more than 18 x 14 x 8 inches and weighing 20 pounds or less. The policy reflects Amazon’s continued focus on highly automated fulfillment networks optimized for small, sortable products.

Basic 3PL’s expanded infrastructure is designed to support brands whose products fall outside these requirements. The company provides scalable pallet storage, inventory preparation, and automated replenishment services that allow merchants to store inventory externally and replenish Amazon FBA, direct-to-consumer operations, retail distribution, and other sales channels as needed.

The enhanced offering includes specialized storage for oversized, heavy, high-value, and specialty products requiring secure handling. It also features automated integration with Amazon Seller Central, enabling businesses to maintain optimal FBA inventory levels while reducing storage costs during peak demand periods.

In addition to marketplace replenishment, Basic 3PL offers a centralized inventory model that supports multiple fulfillment channels from a single inventory pool, helping brands manage ecommerce, wholesale, and retail distribution more efficiently.

The company says its expanded services are intended to complement increasingly specialized fulfillment networks by acting as an upstream inventory hub between manufacturers and marketplace warehouses. Basic 3PL is also offering expedited receiving, inventory onboarding, and Amazon FBA preparation, with products ready for shipment within 24 to 48 hours of arrival.

By expanding its logistics capabilities, Basic 3PL aims to help merchants navigate evolving marketplace fulfillment requirements while maintaining inventory visibility, operational flexibility, and faster replenishment across multiple sales channels.
